Let go of stress and tension and feel the rejuvenating benefits of yin yoga on your body, mind and energy levels in this 6 week course

Join experienced yoga teacher, reiki master and holistic coach Alexandra Rangecroft and go on a journey as you're guided and supported through the restorative practices of yin yoga whilst learning more about the meridian lines in the body. Each week we'll focus on a different pair of yin/yang meridians and learn more about this ancient Chinese medicine map.

Mats, blocks and weighted eye pillows provided. All you'll need to bring is a blanket and a pillow.

Alex is an exceptional instructor who brings a wealth of knowledge structured into manageable portions.

If you're new to yin yoga, it can be described as grounding, relaxing and nourishing. In yin yoga we hold non weight bearing postures (on the ground with props and cushions) for around 3-5 minutes. During this time as we allow ourselves to find stillness, softness and a sense of non striving, the body begins to open more deeply in it's own time. You don't have to be flexible to practice yin yoga, although increased flexibility, a sense of wellbeing and ease can come from the practice of yin. During the sessions we will drop into a meditative state as we open and support the body and mind. Perfect if you're looking to unwind, relax and let go of stress and tension on a deeper level. All levels and bodies are welcome, this is a slow, relaxing practice on the ground, you will always be supported and encouraged to look after your body and modify your practice as you need to. You'll also receive a hand out each week on the meridian lines.
