The concept of chakras dates back to ancient times in India 1500 -1000 BC. Chakras are energy centers in the body and we can think of the chakra system as an energetic map. Chakras are often depicted as spinning wheels of energy up the center of the body in different colours. Each chakra links energetically with the physical body and can influence different aspects of your life depending on if they are in or out of balance.
